Bible XML
This download contains complete XML versions of several translations of the Bible.
There are several Bible XML standards available including
OSIS, XSEM and USFX.
This is a simplified XML format containing basic testament, book, chapter and verse nodes. It does not adhere to any of these standards. The reason is because they were generated from the a source that containes just the verse text, not any of the additional data needed for many of these standards. This format was designed for maximum simplicity.
The translations included are:
- American Standard Version
- Bible in Basic English
- Darby Bible
- King James Version
- World English Bible
- Webster Bible
- Young's Literal Translation
